Las Vegas Lines Up for Boy Scouts
Posted by admin under: advertising .
Now is a good time to make your travel arrangements if you want to pitch the Boy Scouts of America on your new product. The Licensing International Expo will be held June 2nd through 4th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. That happens to be right next to the Shark Reef exhibit which I saw with my Life Scout, Cadette, and Tiger Cub this past November. It’s excellent, by the way.
Licensing International Expo is your opportunity to increase brand awareness, enter new markets and realize the revenue potential of your property. In just three days, meet with 25,000 of the most enterprising licensing executives, manufacturers, retailers and distributors in the world and make deals to put your best ideas on shelves across the globe.
Hm. So, does that mean it’s a great place for new Scout gear or is it a chance to advance the BSA brand for new markets (e.g.: the new push for Hispanics in Scouting)? Well, if you want a captive audience for the next great Eagle Scout gift or Pinewood Derby accessory, this is the time and place. Be careful, though, since the booth is cat-corner to Tattoo Johnny. You don’t want to pitch them on the Tiger plush toys, man.
