BoyandGirlScouts.com Contracts a Virus
Posted by admin under: blog news .
I just got an e-mail from a representative for Angela and Vanessa Simmons asking if I could give them a linkback. Normally I shun these requests. They’re usually from people who sell sheet metal or pre-fab sheds or something equally unrelated to Scouting events. I’ll admit to some initial trepidation, but these ladies are spokeswomen for the Girl Scouts of the USA and their recent episode I just wrote about shows them making an ethical choice in favor of the GSUSA over their own monetary interests. Additionally, I saw on their web site that they promote people doing good deeds which is one of the values we try to teach in Girl Scouts. So, I’ve added a new category on my link list, Scouting Partners, and I put a link to their page. Look at me! I’m part of a viral campaign! Fear my DNA! There, I’ve gone and sold out. Wait. I’m not getting any money for this. I’m really bad at selling out.
Note: This is an old pic and if you click on the image you will not get a ticket to Six Flags. Sorry.
