BSA Subscriptions and New Stuff

Posted by admin under: blog news .

If you’d like to get official BSA news delivered to your inbox you can do so in a couple of steps. First, go to http://www.bsalicensing.org/email_subscribe.htm and put in your e-mail address. This will give you alerts when new licensed providers are announced by the BSA (about every 6 to 8 weeks). Once you get one of these announcements you can click on the “Manage Subscriptions” link at the bottom of the e-mail and it will take you to a subdomain of scoutstuff.org where you can subscribe to more items of interest:

Boy Scout Promotions List
Promotions and announcements relative to the Boy Scout Program
BSA Licensing Insider

Tiger Cub Promotion List

Venturing Promotions List

I couldn’t find a way to directly go to the subscription center. So, it’s kind of a pain to have to wait for the first e-mail before you can manage your subscriptions, but I guess that’s the way it is.

The latest e-mail discusses a pinewood derby accessory kit from Bosch tools sold in Lowe’s Home Improvment stores (as discussed over at Scoutingnews.org), Cub and BSA checkbooks and checkbook covers available at identitychecks.com, new medals that will soon be produced by crownawards.com, the Eagle Honor ring which we’ve discussed previously, and a couple of new licensees that basically embroider BSA emblems on hats and stuff.

Here’s a copy of the e-mail without my subscription links so all the cheeky monkeys out there don’t change my settings. Whoops. No, it broke the blog. Oh, well. you’ll have to imagine it.
