No More Google For Me

I liked having the google ads before. It kind of lent a credibility to the site, but after 4 and a half months the ads have only brought in $25 and they won’t pay me until I get to $100. I don’t feel like waiting another year and a half so I’m calling it a bust and pulling the ads. Also, the google search that I thought was cool isn’t being used and google keeps deleting the sites I’ve listed in my search bar without explanation so that’s going down the memory hole, too. I had the wearable buttons as a lark, but nobody bought them, not even me, so I pulled that, too. I liked the 1&1 sidebar ad, but in the spirit of cleaning house those are getting tossed. Hopefully, the blog will display faster without having to run out to these various sites to pull up pix and links and stuff. I’ve got one guy who expressed some interest in buying ad space. I’ll find out if he’s still interested. If not, the site will stay ad free for the present time. For anybody who might have noticed I just thought I’d post what happened to all those doo-dads.
