Dairy Queen Partners with Girl Scouts
Posted by admin under: Community Partners .
According to the Northwest Indiana Times, Dairy Queen is licensing the use of the most popular Girl Scout cookie flavor, Thin Mint, to use in their Blizzard ice cream treats. July 7th through 13th is designated as Girl Scout Appreciation Week. Individual Dairy Queen locations are encouraged to participate with local Girl Scout groups to promote the partnership although no national policy or campaign is being conducted. In Northridge, California, the Dairy Queen location in the Northridge Fashion Center began selling the new Blizzards on June 29th and will be hosting Girl Scouts at their location on July 13th from 11:30 to 2:30pm. Girl Scout leaders will be conducting some craft activities and giving girls a chance to join the Girl Scouts of the USA. A few phone calls have revealed that some councils have coupons available to try the new Blizzard at a discount. Mmmmm. I know a whole lot of happy people who will be visiting Dairy Queen in the near future.
