Female Soldier Thanks Girl Scouts
Posted by admin under: Community Partners; International .
One reader of this blog (who is also a friend) found a good article in the Redding city website that discussed how one particular troop of Girl Scouts were visited by the Army National Guard soldier they had been communicating with and sending Girl Scout cookies to.
Nina Friermood was touched by the girls and wanted to visit to show her appreciation.
“I’m here today to thank them for their efforts,” said Friermood, who is with the Army National Guard. “It means so much to get a box from home. It’s really special.”
Welcome home, Nina. Thank you for your service to your country.
