Fischer Fires for Boy Scouts

The Crossroads of America Council is having a shooting event to raise money for camp, uniforms, and at-risk programs. The event will be attended by Marty Fischer who has a shotgun shooting television show (although I found it on the internet).
Novice and experienced sporting clay shooters are invited to attend the ninth annual Shooting Stars – Sporting Clays Tournament, sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America, Crossroads of America Council, on Friday, Sept. 19 at Crooked Creek Conservation and Gun Club in Noblesville.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m., with lunch served from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Loaner guns will be available and an awards ceremony will follow the conclusion of the tournament.
Sounds like fun to me. If you’re anywhere near these guys on Friday you should head down and try your hand against some of the best. After all, this is what you tell the wife, it’s for charity!
