Girl Scouts Go Cheetah
Posted by admin under: Community Partners .
Continuing the trend of young girl movie partnerships, Girl Scouts of the USA will be allowed to have screenings of the upcoming Disney Channel movie Cheetah Girls: One World. According to the Girl Scouts of the San Fernando Valley (my home council), a limited number of screenings are being allowed by Disney with Girl Scouts across the country.
Currently, the Girl Scouts of the San Fernando Valley is planning to screen their copy on Saturday, August 23rd at a location to be determined. This is the day after the movie will air on the Disney Channel.
The movie screening will be an opportunity for girls to share their mutual excitement for the movie in a big, party-like setting. Obviously, the Girl Scouts of the USA is doing a great job interacting with Hollywood. Now, we just need the media to get the Girl Scouts of the USA image out front more to make sure people still remember this great organization when they’re trying to determine how they’ll spend time with their daughters.
Call your council to find out if there is a screening for Girl Scouts near you.
