Girl Scout Convention Snapshot
Posted by admin under: convention .
Well, the 51st Girl Scout Convention is over and the user Mary Ann Chick Whiteside over at the convention chat website tipped me to the existence of the CMC Media Group who filmed the entire convention and have posted some videos over at youtube. Here’s a quick snapshot of the convention with an appropriately cheesy song. Hey, I like cheese.
This other one from them has the girls talking about what they did and learned. I like the massages and hair treatments. Uh, it seems a little light on, you know, substantial issues, but I recognize that girls do that sort of thing. Talk about what’s important to them while doing other stuff. It still looks funny.
Both the last one and this next one are focused on how the girls learned leadership skills and what leadership means to them. Apparently the experience was both amazing and awesome according to dozens of filmed participants.
And finally that leads to this 80’s/90’s sounding song about Girl Scouts.
Apparently, there’s another Girl Scouts booster songwriter/singer in the form of Melinda Caroll who looks like she’s put out 10 albums of Girl Scout songs over at her web site www.gsmusic.com
Update: Mary Ann Chick Whiteside says that there are more videos coming filmed by the girls themselves. How cool is that?!

But you forgot to mention the 22 other videos on Convention Talk, the ones taken by girls. We’ll be posting more as soon as we can edit them. Picture 57 cameras out on the floors every day. Girls had a great time taking them.
