Los Angeles Girl Scouts Donate Cookies to Soldiers
Posted by admin under: cookies .
About 1,000 cases of cookies were passed along a human conveyor belt comprised of military personnel and members of the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles on Wednesday.
In total, some 12,000 boxes of cookies will be distributed to sailors, soldiers, airmen and Marines passing through the Bob Hope USO office at Los Angeles International Airport while headed overseas or returning home from a deployment.
I’m interested in this story because at least 100 boxes of those cookies were coming from the people who donated through my daughter’s cookie sales. Bon voyage to the Girl Scout cookies and hopefully they’ll be enjoyed soon.
