San Diego Girl Scout Cookie Week
Posted by admin under: cookies .
Thanks to @SPcommunity for the tweet about massive support for cookie season in San Diego, California (not, you know, the one is Idaho). I’ve heard of cookies with ice cream or cake or an occasional one-off dish here and there, but that city is going girl crazy for Girl Scouts.
Everyone loves Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs, and San Diego’s top chefs are no exception. During the January 2009 Restaurant Week, they will whip up unique creations featuring a very special ingredient . . . Girl Scout Cookies!
This year, cookie connoisseurs will have an exclusive opportunity to enjoy these classic confections before the Cookie Program officially begins on January 31. Participating restaurants who will be offering cookie menu items to diners during Restaurant Week are listed below

Wow! That’s great! Let me know how the Dulce De Leche Lobster turns out, will ya? Hey, my mom lives near San Diego. Maybe she needs a visit from her number one son and we need to head out to (pick a name off the above list). Oh, yeah.
