Backcountry’s Boot Shoot

Just noticed on Twitter that @backcountrycom posted a contest linked to their facebook page to give away a pair of Sorel Caribous boots for the best pic of why you should get them. To enter, go to the facebook page, become a fan of backcountry (yes, it’s a little manipulative, I agree), and then you can submit a fan photo of why you think you should get the boots.
Gah! Facebook is soooooo slow. Maybe having 10 different internet browser pages going at the same time is a bit of a strain on my system. Nah, that can’t be it.
Hm. The boots retail for $109.95 on the web site so I guess it’s not a bad gimmee if you can get it. I should send in a pic of me in my $3.50 hiking boots I picked up at the Salvation Army except that I like my boots so I’m not sure if I should enter the contest. What if I win?
