Boil In The Bag (Literally)
Posted by admin under: Equipment .
I keep an eye on Trail Cooking since someone (I think Camping Blogger) brought the blog to my attention. Today, she notes a heavy-duty plastic bag into which you pour boiling water to make your own backpacking dishes. She notes that it has a steep price and it’s true: about $4.50 for one bag. You’d better not toss that puppy away. However, the website says that the bag can’t be used to hold stuff that you then put into a pot of boiling water which makes it seem like it might not last a lot of uses. So, I’ll stick with my cheap bags at the grocery store. At least if they give out on my I don’t feel like I’m out much money.
