Boy Scouts Reacquire Their Trailer
Posted by admin under: Equipment .
Since my troop was robbed and I’d heard about similar things happening to other troops I’m doing a little happy dance now. Mark Workhoven at KPOJ gives the good news.
A stolen Boy Scout trailer is found Thursday night in Southeast Portland. A scout’s mother spotted the trailer at 150th and Powell. The trailer had been painted black, and was listed “for sale.” The thieves selling the trailer ran away. The trailer belongs to the Boy Scout Troop 351, and was taken right off the street. The Scoutmaster for the troop says he doesn’t understand why anyone would want to steal their trailer. But he’s glad they have it back, because now they can use it for their planned camping trip.
Any son already knows that moms have eyes in the backs of their heads. Now thieves have to worry about the supermom in Troop 351 who can see through paint and find you in random city streets. I have a feeling discipline is not a problem at her house.
