He-Leatherman’s Counterpart, Skeletool
Posted by admin under: Equipment .
This Gear Junkie guy is rapidly becoming one of my favorite blogs to read. He gets so many cool toys to play with. He’s got a review of a new leatherman tool that is streamlined and lightweight called the Skeletool. He’s got great pictures of it including how the carabiner clip will allow you to wear it or attach it easily.
This setup creates a solid little tool that weighs 5 ounces. It slides easily in a pocket or clips securely to a belt loop.
An outside-accessible knife blade opens just like on a pocket knife, and you can flick it open with one hand. The tool’s screwdriver bit switches flat or Philips tips in a second.
The newly-designed pliers includes a wire cutter
I would like a can opener, but he says it’s not there. Okay, then, it’s not the $72 price tag that’s stopping me. It’s the lack of a can opener. Still, you can go over and check it out. It looks cool.
