REI’s January Clearance Sale is On
Posted by admin under: Equipment .
One of the questions I always have is “Where can I get my gear for a good price?”. Usually, people say they get their gear from different sources, but REI is a name that keeps popping up. I’ve found many of the products they sell to be great, but a bit pricey. Sarah at Trailcooking.com has the answer!
I was out running errands when somehow I ended up in REI. Not sure how that happened.
I was puttering around, looking at the January clearance items. It is pretty obvious that people are not spending money like last year – the sale has been going on for a week nearly and most of the good stuff was still in stock. Had I wanted one, they had plenty of REI Sub-Kilo sleeping bags in stock (I own one already). They were $85!
So, I went right over to the REI web site. Lo and behold, the annual clearance sale is going on right now! The REI sale lore is that you need to get to the store on the first day of the sale in order to get a chance at any good gear before it’s sold out, but Sarah says it’s still there.
So, if you want to check out some online prices or to find the store nearest to you, click on the above logo and go on over. Good hunting!
