ScoutDirect Sale
Posted by admin under: Equipment .
ScoutDirect.com is doing another sale for those of you who are looking for bulk purchases. They have set up a big page for Jamboree troops. The part I was really interested in was the fact that they said they were actually going to the Jamboree itself.
- Jambo 2010
- Key Items and Pricing - I have been speaking with numerous leaders regarding what their needs will be for larger council orders. Most of them have mentioned that the key items they will need to purchase in large quantities are tents, cots and day packs. We have been working hard getting pricing so you can continue to plan your council orders. Our pricing structure will be as follows for these three categories: (see attached spreadsheet for more details)
- > 50 pieces will receive an additional 5% off – making your discount a 50% off retail price
- > 100 pieces will receive an additional 10% off – making your discount a 55% off retail price
- Jambo Duffle Bags – Our special Jamboree Series duffle bags have been receiving great responses. We will offer two sizes - a Regular 12″ x 24″ x 11″ - $13.74 and a Large 15″ x 30″ x 11″ – $16.49.

They also have headlamps for $17 which normally go for $35. That sounds like a good deal to me. Do you have a better source? If not, you might want to check out http://www.ScoutDirect.com. If your Jambo troop doesn’t have a supplier yet and you’d like to have one that will fix their product at the Jamboree itself, you might also want to give them a ring.
