Scouting Stuff’s Cool New Derby Adds
Posted by admin under: Equipment .
I got the Scoutstuff.org e-mail today with a bunch of additional pinewood derby accessories. They start it off with a real cool item: multi-color wheels.
Of course you’ve already seen the body skins that you paste on instead of having to paint, but while I like the skins painting is a skill I want to teach my Cub so I’m not sure I’m going to pick this one up.
And one item I do intend to pick up even though it has a hefty $13 price tag is the designs and pattern book.
Especially because you can paste on the design and then let your little dude go at it with a coping saw to still be happy with the result, this pattern book is something I’ll be stopping by the Scout shop for.
There are a couple of other things, too, like patches and sidepanels so you can give your car wheel wells, but these are the three I thought were coolest. Click on any of those three pics to go directly to the page on Scoutstuff.org where you can see more detail.
Remember you can subscribe to get this and other official Boy Scouts news directly from the BSA.
