Daisy Girl Scouts to Sell Cookies for First Time
Posted by admin under: fundraising .
If you look on the national website you’ll see an admonition that Daisies are not allowed to sell Girl Scout cookies. However, according to the realignment newsletter from the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (near the bottom of the page) that will change in 2009.
Daisies can sell to family and friends
No equivocation there. No standing in front of stores for the cuties, but finally Daisy troops will have a way to earn money rather than just hitting up the parents for more money and supplies. I’m sure this can’t be an L.A. thing so look for this news to start spreading across the nation.

Well they HAD to allow this change since they are making the Daisy level last 2 years now. It would be too much of a burden to expect them to have 2 years of program without anyway to raise money (especially since they were not supposed to collect dues in Daisies either)!
