An Excuse to Move to the Bahamas
Posted by admin under: International .
Just in case you needed to answer the question, “But what about the kids’ Scouting activities? I suppose you’re going to tell me there’s Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in the Bahamas?” Well, yes, actually. If you read the Nassau Guardian, you already know…
During a time when more parents are seeking wholesome activities for their kids to enjoy, two organizations with in The Bahamas – the Bahamas Girl Guides Association and Scout Association Of the Bahamas – are encouraging parents to get their children involved in these organizations.
In both of these organizations, your children, they say, will learn leadership skills, service, how to think for themselves, how to keep the law and become valuable contributing members of society. They teach your children skills that are important to raising well-rounded children that have an appreciation for life.
It’s a really detailed description of the whole program in case you’re fascinating by comparing American Scouts to other countries like I am.
