Swaziland Invites Scouts to Camp
Posted by admin under: International .
The World Organization of the Scouting Movement is forwarding the information that Swaziland will be hosting an international camp. Here’s how ignorant I am. I thought Swaziland was a made-up name from the movies. No, it’s actually a tiny country right next to South Africa.
The Swaziland Scout Association (SSA) has invited National Scout Organizations around the globe to their international Scout camp to be held next year between 31 July to 11 August 2009. During this event SSA hopes to exhibit her achievements in terms of youth-oriented projects.
Invited NSOs (National Scout Organizations) include Ghana, Hong Kong, Japan, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique and Namibia. Scouts from South Africa and Tanzania are also expected to attend.
I bet if you wanted to add the United States to that list they wouldn’t object too much, but that’s just me expecting Boy Scouts to be that welcoming all over the world. I like the rose tint of my glasses.
