Boys’ Life Major Revenue Loss

Posted by admin under: media .

According to this post from ScoutingNews, the New York Times is reporting that Boys’ Life isn’t pulling in the advertisers like it used to. In fact, it’s one of the top 10 losers for all the magazines surveyed.

The industry average decline for January 2009 was 17%, that means there was 17% less advertising by volume. While I don’t have access to the specific decline for Boy’s Life; Wired was listed at 47% decline, Vogue and Lucky were down about 40%.

The best part of the post is near the end where Dan has a link to the media kit for Boys’ Life, in case you were thinking of advertising. Two important things to keep in mind, though.

- 2009 Four Color Full Page Ad Cost – $39,680
- No Sneezing Powder Advertisements!
