South Park Pinewood Derby
Posted by admin under: media .
I’m still unclear why the Boy Scouts of America allows their trademarked terms to be used in parodies, but maybe it’s because it keeps the public image of what Scouts are not. Also, I’m sure many Scouters and Scouts are openly Parkish. I know one of the boys in my troop loves South Park. So, it’s not completely surprising the show did another episode where the Scouts are featured. This time it’s the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby that’s the launching pad for the episode. The below YouTube video ends in a bloody, violent scene so if you don’t want to see that, just don’t click or skip the last 10 seconds of the vid. Otherwise, enjoy!
