50% Increase in Boy Scout Registration

KISMIF.org says registration is going up next year.
According postings on the Cub Scout Talk Yahoo Group, BSA National has announced that the annual adult and youth registration fee (currently $10) is going up to $15 effective January 1, 2010.

Mike does a great job at KISMIF, but I’d be careful posting things from that Yahoo group. They get their share of kooks on that site. In addition to that, he’s also mentioned a supposed new Webelos book and some new belt loops that were mentioned on that site. It will be interesting to see which if any of these pan out.

There’s been a lot of murmering about a 50% increase, but look at what you get for only $15 a year. You get access to the best youth program around. It’s still a bargin in my book.
