Dan is Your Jamboree Man

He’s got a trio of articles you should read at scoutingnews.com.
The first describes how health and safety is being handled to ensure there won’t be another horrifying event like at the last jamboree.
The second excerpts and links to a wrap-up report on last year’s World Jamboree which had 85% percent of the surveyed attendees happy with how things went.
The third describes a more stringent requirement for immunizations on the medical forms that we all lag in ensuring we have signed off by our doctors if required, like in the event of Jamboree. The parts I found most interesting were
it is required to have current tetanus immunization.
But
Exceptions to tetanus immunization will be accepted for medical, religious, or philosophical reasons.
Which pretty much sounds like a big, fat get-out-of-jail-free card. It’s required unless you don’t want to. Okay.
