Girl Scouts Advocacy Network
Posted by admin under: public relations .
I saw an alert that had a website I was not familiar with: http://www.girlscouts4girls.org/. ? The official Girl Scouts of the USA site is http://www.GirlScouts.org/ so why this other address? It looks the same as the main one. Well, it’s basically the Girl Scouts lobby. There’s a page where you can become an advocate for the Girl Scouts. There’s even a Troop Capitol Hill with female representatives and senators who are advocates of Girl Scouts. I knew about that a while back, but I didn’t realize there was a formalized network. In fact you can go to the web site and sign up to be an advocate yourself: http://www.girlscouts4girls.org/girlscouts/mlm/signup/. Well, do you think there should be more or less Girl Scouts in the USA? Cool. Go sign up. Thanks.
