What do seniors in assisted living have in common with seniors in high school? A lot more than you think, 16-year-old Anna Bobrow of Charlotte was surprised to learn during a recent Girl Scout project. Last summer, Anna interviewed retirees at Sunrise on Providence Road. She also posted questions online for a group of teens on the Facebook social networking site. Her goal: build understanding between teenagers and older adults. The work helped Anna earn the Girl Scout Gold Award, the equivalent of an Eagle Scout for guys.
