In this case a Girl Scout named Danielle Collier, a 17-year-old junior at Floyd Central High School who was looking for a way to “give back.” Collier decided her project would be to help support the families of deployed soldiers from the area. To do so, she began a project called “Moms Night Out.” On the fourth Friday of every month, Collier provided child care services for the wives of deployed soldiers. During the four to five hours that she had the children, they watched movies, had pizza and drinks, played and worked crafts that they sent to their deployed parents in Iraq.
