Wilmington Willpower
Posted by admin under: recognition .
Delawareonline is very proud of one of the girls in their area.
Girl Scout Erin Lawler, of Wilmington, has been selected as a 2008 National Young Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of the USA for her exceptional Girl Scout Gold Award Project titled “GEMS: Girls Empowered by Math and Science.” Erin is one of just ten Girl Scouts in the nation to be selected as a National Young Woman of Distinction.
I’ve contacted the GSUSA to get details on the other ladies to receive this honor. Hopefully we’ll see an update to the national website with that information soon.
