Pinewood Derby Sans Wood

Posted by admin under: Software .

I read the ad in the last Scouting magazine, but forgot about it. Scoutingnews.org went the extra mile and compiled all the information you need about the new Pinewood Derby video game.

An official BSA Licensed Pinewood Derby Computer Game was released at the end of September by Elephant Entertainment.

Pinewood Derby can be purchased at Best Buy, and at this time has a list price of $14.99. The latest issues of Scouting Magazine and Boy’s Life have a $5 off coupon.

Ah, he has all the nifty info on the game options including how to experiment with friction and weights. Everything you need to know before you hit the design specs with junior. By the way, make sure you buy two of the real thing. Junior should be allowed to make his own car and you know you’re not going to be able to keep your hands off. Just get your own.

Just in case you missed it, this is a PC game. You won’t find it on Xbox or Playstation. Good news, though, it’ll run on XP. You don’t have to downgrade to Vista to play (that’s a joke. I joke with Microsoft because I love them so ;) ).
