BSA Official Seeds of Kindness Audio

One of my various watched items is new media from the national Boy Scouts of America web site. In my blog aggregator I get to click on the audio file and listen to a 24 minute discussion of this month’s Cub Scout theme: Seeds of Kindness. The odd thing is that when I click on the page on the actual web site I don’t see an audio player. Maybe it’s just my settings or firewall or something, but if you’re having the same problem I wanted to give you the direct link the the mp3 file for this audio: http://www.scouting.org/filestore/mp3/2008-10.mp3. Hm. Based on that format it looks like we could figure out how to get to the old files. Let’s see if it works. Yup. You can get at the old files by putting the same path in your browser and changing the date. Hee, hee. You can even preview next month’s file before it’s been officially posted. So, if you can’t see the player, like me, you can still hear the audio by typing in the path in your browser which will start whatever program is automatically associated with playing MP3 files. You can even put the path into your music player if it allows that sort of thing. If neither of those work then you might be out of luck. Sorry.
