More on the End To Cub Scout Themes

KISMIF.org has informed readers who are keeping up with the plan for Cub Scout themes.
According to one of our comment posters, the 2009-2010 Roundtable Planning Guide has this announcement aboutthe end of monthly themes:
“New for 2010-2011: Beginning in September 2010 and the 2010-2011 program year, the method of presenting Cub Scout den and pack meetings will undergo exciting enhancements with big benefits for boys, den leaders, and pack leaders. With these enhancements, monthly themes will no longer be used.”
I guess I’m a little obsessed on this topic, but I’ve found the themes so helpful, personally. I’ve bought the last theme magazine/booklet they’ll make on this because I still plan to use themes even though they’re being discontinued. Thanks to Mike and his fans for keeping me informed.
