Nice Training Page Summary
Posted by admin under: Training .
The Boy Scouts of America training updates page repeatedly tries to get viewers to click over to another page that has a full summary of all the expected training for adults involved in the BSA. In fact they have one, also, for youth and a special break-out for youth protection training. I just wanted to point out this page because it has a very good design to my way of thinking. The program icons to the left of the descriptions show if something is appropriate for Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Venturers, or Varsity or any combination of them. It’s a really quick way to see what training is appropriate for the program you’re in. You won’t get sidetracked taking Boy Scout training if you’re trying to learn about Cub Scout leadership or vice-versa.
Of course, it all leads back to the security protected myscouting.org page where people can log into the system to take training. Convenient links are appropriately placed and there are even helpful hints such as telling you how much time a particular training should take. All in all I think this makes the Boy Scouts of America the leader in online training which is impressive considering how many trainings there are and the various programs to be trained. I’m impressed with the ease of navigation, but thoroughness of this training page.
